An IP address serves to uniquely identify a server on the Internet. An IP address is made up of four numbers between 0 and 255, separated by dots.

In the strictest sense, an IP address is also what you rent at 4Netplayers. With the help of the 4Netplayers web interface, you set up one or several game servers, which you can then start on "your" IP address. You set up a game server, for example, by clicking "Set up server" in the left of the menu.
